Built in 1950, the Shelter Pointe Hotel and Marina recently underwent a vast renovation project in 2002 that has left the resort more spectacular than ever. Boasting 206 guest accommodations, 29 of which are suites, each of the guest rooms are designed specifically to ease travelers into a vacation state of mind. The majority of the accommodations feature their own private balconies that offer breathtaking views of the bay or the boat-filled marina.
